The adidas blue boost can easily be confused for something made by Y-3, Rick Owens or even Kanye West but that isn't the case (although the heel is shaped like the Kanye West affiliated.
The Blue Boost takes its name from the adidas Blue division that creates some of the more premium models for the three stripes. It'll be interesting to see if any additional colourways features the colour blue to match the name, like the two seen below.
The black pair features premium leather, as well as suede and mesh. This colourway features just a hint of blue on the medial side near the heel. The multi-colour version features the same materials with Onyx Grey and running white to offset the louder colours.
